Rick Hof is a senior procurement executive with over two decades of leadership spanning energy, infrastructure, and real estate. Most recently serving as Chief Procurement Officer at Alliander, Rick guided the organisation through an eight-and-a-half-year journey—quadrupling managed spend and evolving the procurement function into a strategic engine for the energy transition, supplier partnerships, circularity, and net-zero targets.

‍

Known across the European procurement landscape for his belief that "it matters how we spend," Rick combines hands-on operational leadership with an uncompromising, practitioner-first perspective on digital transformation and supplier ecosystem management.

‍

At ProcureTEX 2026, he brings candid, hard-won insights on the realities of scaling procurement, navigating organisational readiness, and moving beyond generic strategies to build genuine enterprise value.
