Why ProcureTEX 2026 Is the Antidote to Pay-to-Play Procurement Events
Why ProcureTEX 2026 Is the Antidote to Pay-to-Play Procurement Events

Standard procurement conferences are broken. They force CPOs and digital transformation leaders to navigate crowded, noisy trade-show floors, only to sit through high-priced keynotes disguised as "thought leadership."

The result is conference fatigue. Executive teams leave with generic software promises rather than practical strategies for eliminating decision latency, managing market volatility, and proving financial return to their boards.

ProcureTEX was created to break that model. Founded by Keelvar, Zip, and Beroe, ProcureTEX is built on a single premise: procurement leaders deserve a curated space where content is practitioner-led, honest about operational friction, and grounded in real data.

The Four Core Principles of ProcureTEX

ProcureTEX operates differently from traditional industry events. We hold to four operational principles that protect the quality of the room and the value of every session:

Zero Paid Speaker Slots: No pay-to-play. We select speakers strictly for category expertise and provable results.

Practitioner-Led Reality: Focus on real-world execution. Speakers share what actually worked, what broke, and exactly how they fixed it.

Curated, Not Crowded: We intentionally size the event to 300+ leaders. This prioritizes high-value peer exchange over noisy exhibition halls.

Vetted, Interoperable Vendors: Every provider in the room is evaluated for genuine scale, open integration, and proven ability to support a connected procurement stack.

What's New for 2026 in Amsterdam

Building on the success of our inaugural event in London, ProcureTEX 2026 moves to Circa in Amsterdam. We've designed new formats to drive deeper technical insight and facilitate executive alignment.

The CPO Track

Brand new for 2026, The CPO Track is an exclusive, closed-door session capped at approximately 10 enterprise Chief Procurement Officers. Designed for candid peer dialogue, this room tackles executive pressures: securing board alignment, building CFO credibility, and redesigning team operating models around agentic technology.

Breed of Breed Live

We are evolving standard software demos into live demonstrations. These sessions demonstrate how best-of-breed systems connect in real time. Attendees will watch specialized agents, intake orchestration layers, and benchmarking engines pass data across systems to execute sourcing workflows without manual delay.

Practitioner Circles

This track is a dedicated space for procurement practitioners only - no vendors, no selling. A private space for practitioners to share challenges, ideas and lessons learned openly and honestly. This is a peer-driven forum for real conversation.

Workshops

These interactive, small-group sessions are designed to go beyond theory-focusing on practical application, real examples, and peer discussion. Guided by the experts and built around active participation, problem-solving, and take-home tools.

Six Core Topics Shaping the 2026 Agenda

Content is structured around six strategic themes addressing the immediate operational shifts procurement teams face today:

  1. Multi-Agent Systems for Procurement - a hands-on workshop pairing you with engineers to prototype AI agents that drive immediate impact.
  2. Building the Agentic Center of Excellence - a panel on scaling best-in-class sourcing by pairing procurement teams with specialist AI agents.
  3. Procurement in transition: From episodic to continuous - Procurement has long run on periodic reviews: quarterly checks, annual renegotiations, reactive fixes when something breaks. The real gap is between reviewing what happened and acting on what’s happening now, by connecting market shifts to your own spend, contracts and supplier data as they unfold. Discover how leading procurement teams can closing that gap.
  4. Decision-Grade Data: The Shift from Data Overload to Decision-Ready - Evidence-based decision-making rests on data you can trust. The real gap is between hving data and having intelligence that is fit to make a decision, drawn from reliable internal and external sources. This session explores that shift — how leading procurement teams are building a trusted data foundation, connecting the right signals, and turning data into decisions that drive business impact.
  5. Building Procurement Agents - Journey or Jump, should you clean up fragmented data first, or start straight from trusted, decision-grade intelligence?
  6. The Connected Stack - how best-of-breed technologies now deliver real interoperability, from market intelligence through sourcing, negotiation, and execution.

Built on Proven Momentum: ProcureTEX 2025

ProcureTEX 2026 builds on the foundation established during our sold-out 2025 event in London.

Last year's main stage opened with Oxford Professor Michael Wooldridge cutting through artificial intelligence hype, followed by a strategic panel featuring Keelvar CEO Alan Holland alongside procurement leaders from Bayer and Colgate-Palmolive. Former J&J MedTech CPO Ralf Garczorz contrasted historical sourcing models with modern operational demands, while executive teams from Siemens Energy, AstraZeneca, Mondelēz, Roche, and Maersk delivered honest accounts of building connected digital ecosystems.

Practitioners consistently highlight the value of this candid, pitch-free environment:

"What really attracted me to joining this event versus others is that focus on practitioners. We are talking to people and networking with people who are at all different points in their journey and they are talking very openly about what their experiences have been and what we can learn from that."
— Clare Cassano, Head of Procurement Strategy & Execution, Invesco
"ProcureTEX has been a really brilliant event. I think it's got a really perfect mix of digital providers, practitioners and even academics that are sharing practical ways in which we can transform digital procurement."
— James Belshaw, Procurement Performance Leader, Primark
